Mitch McConnell Caves on Continuing Resolution

Today on Fox News, Senator Mitch McConnell said shutting down the government would solve nothing. He was referring to supporting a continuing resolution which would continue to fund Democrats’ massive spending programs funded earlier this year. McConnell did this without demanding any concessions involving the House bill currently waiting on a Senate vote. This bill currently contains a provision that would fund 84,000 new IRS agents.

This is the second time Mitch has punted on an increase in the debt limit without concessions, having done so earlier in October of this year.

This action is simply further proof that Senator Mcconnell has a weiner for a spine.
